The JCHS library opens at 7:30am in the morning Monday through Friday. We have computers available for schoolwork as soon as the library is open and a free printer to use for school work. We have chess sets set up in the library for a game of chess in the mornings and during lunches. We have various card and board games and a puzzle table available during library hours. You are not allowed to eat in the library but beverages are fine. We are open during lunches. We have both fiction and nonfiction books available along with a selection of mangas. You may check out up to five books at a time for a month. The librarian reserves the right to limit books if needed. If your library book is a month late after the due date the librarian may charge the book to your account and order a new book.
The library strives to be a safe and welcoming space and offers many activities and as long as you are respectful you are more than welcome to join us. I look forward to meeting you and helping you during your years at Johnson County High School.
